Route: Ski trails
After hiking Mt. Elbert in the morning, the weather still seemed very good. I decided to check out Cooper Hill after reading the 10th Mountain Division history of it at Tennessee Pass; some of the troops had trained on skis at Ski Cooper.
I basically jogged the gravel access road under the chairlifts to the summit. From the ski trails, there were some nice directional views.
