Mt. Pisgah
Northborough, MA
Trailheads, measurements, times, distances, and maps are all approximate and relative to the hike(s) as shown below.
The Berlin Road Trail
Route: Mentzer Trail, Berlin Road Trail, Summit Trail, (Mt. Pisgah), Tyler Trail, Mentzer Trail, North Overlook Trail, Mentzer Trail
These trails, part of the Mount Pisgah Conservation Area, were dry and in good shape.
Very easy grades from this side - barely felt like I had climbed anything. Not too much to see from the summit, but the North View offered a look east, from where I could pick out the Prudential and Hancock towers in the distance.

The Mentzer Trail trailhead off Smith Road
Looking east from the North Overlook, about a quarter mile north of the highpoint of Mt. Pisgah
Directions to trailhead: From Route 62 in Berlin, take Linden Street west, then take a left onto Ball Hill Road. Upon crossing the Northborough town line, Ball Hill Road becomes Smith Road. As the road starts to curve and descend to the right, the Mount Pisgah Conservation Area trailhead and small parking area will be on the left.
