The lower Carriage Road
Route: Moosilauke Carriage Road
With good footing up to the Snapper junction and decent footing thereafter, it was fairly smooth sailing up the Moosilauke Carriage Road. By late afternoon, the summit was nearly empty, with a nice breeze and good views.

Directions to trailhead: Take Route 25 West from Plymouth to Warren. Take a right onto Route 118 North. A few minutes later, take a left onto Breezy Point Road. The Moosilauke Carriage Road starts and the end of this road, with a quasi parking area located uphill to the left.
