Route: Albany Mountain Trail, herd path, (Albany Mountain), herd path, bushwhack, Albany Mountain Trail

The southern end of the trail had some mud pits, but other areas were smooth travelling due to some recent trail work. Continued over the height of land on the abandoned Albany Notch Trail to the impressive beaver pond, which had some nice views as well.

Good views from the cliffs on the southern end of Albany Mountain (cairns leading to it). Bushwhacked in steep, open woods back to the trail from there.
