Weir Hill
North Andover, MA
Trailheads, measurements, times, distances, and maps are all approximate and relative to the hike(s) as shown below.
Looking up the Stevens Trail
Route: Stevens Trail, unknown trail, (Weir Hill), Weir Hill Trail, Johnson Trail
Passing through the area, I stopped by Weir Hill for a quick jog. The Stevens Trail was dry and snow free with good footing. Reaching the nice field viewpoint, I had decent views over North Andover and to the hills beyond.
Continuing past the viewpoint, I took a left onto an unsigned trail and soon found myself on the viewless, somewhat wooded summit of Weir Hill, near the air beacon.
From there, I headed in the direction of the Weir Hill Trail, then perhaps to the Johnson Trail - there were quite a few trails in the vicinity, as compared to the trail map, and no signs. Nonetheless, I eventually found myself back at the trailhead.
