Looking down the Dicey Mill Trail
Route: Dicey Mill Trail, (Mt. Passaconaway), Walden Trail, Dicey Mill Trail
After a long hike, and with a potentially bad weather forecast, I was leaning toward taking the day off. After a few hours, though, I decided to at least do something locally, hopefully before the large cells on the radar arrived.
Despite the recent rains, the water crossing on the Dicey Mill Trail was rock hoppable. Reaching the summit of Passaconaway, I was able to have some brief views before fog moved in. Though I had had some sunshine and blue sky for parts of the ascent, it rained lightly throughout most of the descent. Fortunately, the bugs were not too bad.
