With a junk weather forecast after three days of rain - it's starting to feel like June through mid August again! - I decided to get some exercise by heading up Mt. Tecumseh.
Fortunately the ski trails had been mowed since my last hike, thus keeping my pants dry (vs. walking through tall, wet grass). While the skies were mostly cloudy, the foliage at the lower elevations was pretty stunning.
The Tecumseh Trail was fairly dry, though a little bit slippery. The views from the top were good, though the tops of the Tripyramids tended to be in the clouds. Particularly neat was the shadow of Tecumseh that was cast on the colorful valley when the sun broke through for a little bit.
Though it was a fairly glum day, it was nice to get out for a hike during the mist of another extended wet stretch.
