Route: Ski trails, Mt. Tecumseh Trail, Sosman Trail, (summit), Sosman Trail, various ski trails

Trails were generally dry. Nice dry air, minimal bugs. Still two patches of snow remaining, one of which I think will make it to the weekend. Ski trail grass is about knee deep now. In the waning hours of daylight whilst descending, I bent over to get a closer look at what I thought was a rusty old propane tank in the grass, only to have it explode (fortunately away from me) in the form of mama turkey, perched on her chicks. Thank gosh that wasn't a spruce grouse!
